Tour: Backroads Motorcycle Tour Description: This two day motorcycle ride takes you from Chiang Rai, approximately 150 km the first day over back roads to the Burmese border and through hill tribe villages. The views are stunning and the riding is incredible for those who enjoy getting off paved roads. On the way you will stop at an elephant village, a waterfalls and pass through numerous hill tribe villages. You spend the night in an Akha village and have a chance to try traditional Akha cooking. On the second day you return to Chiang Rai on dirt roads taking you through rolling hills and along the Mae Kok River. You stop at a hotspring about 25 km from Chiang Rai. The ride is 65% on dirt roads or small trails. It is fun for all abilities as you will be riding on small roads with no traffic and enjoying great scenery.
