Description: Nam Tok Tad Khwan Forest Park is located in Paya Mengrai District, Chiang Rai. It is situated in Pah Doi Luang National Forest Reserve, Nam Yao Forest and Nam Sor Forest. Combined, they cover approximately 2,100 rais. The Royal Forestry Department declared this area a forest park in 2002.

Directions: The total distance to reach the forest park from Chiang Rai is about 70 km. Take highway 1152 to the east from Chiang Rai toward Phaya Mengrai. Go for 40 kms. After that drive 14 km south on highway 1174 to Ban Pah Muang and then 2.5 km to Ban Muen on the Ban Pah Muang-Ban Sun Vieng route. Turn right to Ban Mae Tam Nam Tok on the Ban Pah Meun-Ban Sun Vieng road and go for 4 kms. Take the dirt road 8 kms to the forest park.
Highlights: Tad Khwan Waterfall is 400 metres above sea level and is approximately 15 metres high. Water flows throughout the year. There is a pond at the bottom of the waterfall. Tad Khwan Waterfall is covered with trees. The scenery is fantastic.
